Reflection
I started writing this particular post 2 months back. Well, it's not long but it serves as a good reminder of the memories as well as the lessons learnt from this. After so long, I guess I finally have the courage to post this and start afresh.
100% is never enough. It's always me trying to make the first move and initiative. Day in and out, your nonchalant attitude and reply makes me wonder if I really suck that badly. The only thing on my mind was always 'how do i make it better?' and 'what did i not do right?' It's so mentally draining.. So much I turned to my books the moment I open my eyes. And going for midnight run after that so that I could fall asleep immediately after tiring myself.
It used to be so good. We clicked instantly and we look forward to each other's text and outing. Going to random places to eat, chill and play. But things change so fast?! Within only 2 months everything just came crumbling down. No effort, nonchalant replies. I have enough of giving. Sometimes it's really tiring to just be the one taking the initiative all the time. Well, although all my friends told me to give it up as it is obviously not working... I still want to believe because you were the one that asked for this r/s first? Its ok. through this, I became stronger. And I still believe. Things happen for a reason and I am sure that better things are waiting for me. Out there. Some where. And I'm sure I will be able to find it. Wednesday, February 15, 2017
2017
2016 has been tough and hard to navigate.
However, I try and allow the New Year to bring a positive focus into my life. 2017 started off perfectly. Probably the best ever. As such, I have decided to come up with a few pointers for the rest of the year.
1. Explore more and new places
2. Take time away from technology
3. Be kind to yourself and to others
4. Exercise more and eat healthily
5. Work hard in maintaining relationship
6. Work smart
7. Learn to understand people
8. To live the moment
“Be mindful. Be grateful. Be positive. Be true. Be kind.”

Trick Eye Museum
Last week, I was invited to the Trick Eye Museum as they just launched their new theme zones and Interactive 4D Concept! The last time I was there was exactly one year ago (http://limgw.blogspot.sg/2014/09/trick-eye-museum-singapore-museum-like.html), also thank you Trick Eye Korea for featuring my blog post on their blog!
At first, I was worried that it would be quite boring since I have already visited once. However, I had lots of fun there as they changed most of their stuffs there so I'm able to take new pictures as well as using my creativity too.
Well, I'm secretly a ballerina.
In only Merlion was a pokemon, he would be using surf all day.
I never knew I could do a hand stand!?
OMG I'M SITTING ON AN EFFING UNICORN! I KNEW IT WAS REAL ALL ALONG. This is also one of my favorite! It looks so real isn't it?! Featuring my friend Yvonne in here.
It's been awhile I last saw the fellow bloggers as I was too busy with school work so we decided to do a creative jump shot with HP (http://hpility.blogspot.sg/)and CK (http://ckchai.blogspot.sg/)!
Beware humans, I'm the rising villain.
Well, perhaps all villain ends up this way :/
Another of my favorite! We both had a hard time thinking how to pose to get this shot! It turns out pretty good I guess?
The final picture of the day! It was such a fun day taking pictures and catching up with other bloggers. Thank you Trickeye for hosting and The Influencer Network for the invite!
Well, what are you waiting for? Do you want to take such nice pictures as well? Head down today with your friends and family!
Trick Eye Museum is open daily from 10am to 9pm.

Denmark, Copenhagen
Sorry for not blogging the past 2 months as I was really busy travelling and I had camps and reservist right when I'm back from Europe. So here it goes..... Copenhagen is one of my favorite place among all the countries that I've visited few months back. During my stay here, I get to try lots of their cuisine as well as cycling everywhere I go. It was kinda scary at first but it just got better.
Visited some museums and got to see lots of paintings as well as crowns from the former kings. To be honest, I'm not really a museum person but still, some of them are still pretty exciting and new to me.
The legendary MERMAID! It was quite disappointing as it was really small! :( But it's still like a mandatory shot whenever you're in Denmark. So stayed there for a couple of minutes before heading elsewhere.
And finally I'm at the nyhavn!! It's really cute and nice! Also, there's alot of nice street food such as crepes, pancakes and churros there too. Really love this part of the city but it sure gets a little crowded though.
Loving this shot! :) After that, I went for a cruise ride that lasted for an hour. Gave me an overview of what's there to do in the city. It was so chill I actually fell asleep half way.
The churros I was talking about! It was really nice and so Instagram worthy.
Visited the castle for only around $15. It's a nice little castle but it's quite ordinary, same as other castles in Europe. And a group shot for the guys! :)
And of course, Christina! The place with lots of graffiti on the wall and WEEEEED! I really love this place cos every part is so OOTD worthy. However, you gotta take pictures discreetly because cameras are not allowed in there due many people buying and smoking weeds there.
What we ate during lunch! It was so so so so good! It's literally my kinda dish! Wanted to go another restaurant that sell tapas initially but it was all fully reserved. But this restaurant was good too and I'm glad I tried their specialty before leaving Denmark!
Lastly a group shot! Special thanks to Ophelia for bringing us around and letting us stay at your cosy house too! I really love it! :) See you soon when you're in Singapore next month! :)

Stunning Aurora/ Northern Lights #YOLO
It has been 2.5 months since I'm in Umea. Guess what?! I finally say the Northern Lights! What more, the strongest aurora in 20 years! Just before this, I specially traveled to Finland to catch the Northern Lights and thankfully, I managed to see a very faint one. But that god I actually saw the BEST one just next to where I live.
Isn't it beautiful?! The camera can't really capture the Northern Lights well though and some of the quality isn't great but it's good enough! :)
A severe solar storm created this stunning display of light in the night sky. From what I know, the solar storm was so huge even those in Denmark and Canada also witness this as well. Most of the cases. auroras are actually green/white in color. However, the one I saw that night was actually multi-hued purple, blues and violets and it was dancing in the sky for a GOOD 1 HOUR!!
In case you don't know, we are actually standing on top of the frozen lake aka Nydala lake which is a 5 minutes walk from where I stay. The night was freezing cold and I just laid down on the lake, looking up at the sky filled with the auroras. It was simply exhilarating and breathtaking.
Now that I've seen the strongest Northern Lights in 20 years, I don't think I will specially head down to see any auroras anymore :D Strike off my bucket list! YAY!!
P.S: I wanted to do a blog post on my trip to Helsinki but I've decided to to a Scandinavian Post instead as I will be intending to conquer all of them. Now I'm left with Norway and Iceland so stay tuned. :)

Fat Cat Ice Cream Bar
FAT CAT ICE CREAM BAR
Fat Cat Ice Cream Bar is definitely one of the place to put in your list when you are going cafe-hopping in 2015. Opened on the 1st of Jan 2015, Fat Cat Ice Cream Bar is already quite popular amongst youngsters in Singapore. First and foremost, thank you Sophie for inviting me for the food tasting! It was comfortable and a great place to chill with your friends and family.
The only thing that I could pick on is the location as it is at the East! Being a Westie, I certainly hope they open up more branches! :D
Address: 416 Bedok North Avenue 2 #01-25 Singapore 460416
They are closed on Tuesday and the opening hours are 12pm to 10pm on Mon, Wed, Thurs, Sun and 12pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
The food here are affordable and I absolutely love the ice cream there. There are lots of varieties (18 flavours). The thing is all their ice creams are made from scratch everyday!! How I wished I could eat a scoop every single day. Sorry I didn't manage to take a picture of the ice creams :(
Before I start off, I really love the coffee here! The food at the middle is called Mojito Cocktail Spheres. It's refreshing and trust me, put the whole thing in your mouth and let it burst! It's so damn
SHIOKKKK!!
Straberry Cheescake with Sorbet! The Sorbet is light and nice. Coupled with the mousse cream, it was really tasty! However I thought the portion could be a little bigger. Other than that it's definitely worth a try.
At Fat cat Ice Cream Bar, they are very particular when it comes to the presentation as well. As you can see from all the pictures, the food looks exceptionally nice! So for food Instagrammers out there, you know where to go ;) This is the true definition of #foodporn!
Look at this pretty thing. Initially, I got no idea how to eat this. Am I suppose to like use a spoon to scoop it up? (Super Embarrassing)!! After that, I learned that I'm suppose to sort of 'drink' it. And OMG, it's so creamy! I love creamy things so this is actually my personal favorite! :D I actually wanted to ask if I can have another serving :X
In essence, although location-wise, it might not be as convenient, I still strongly recommend you guys to check this place out. I promise you would not be disappointed!
Saw Uncle Tehpeng that day too! Check out his blog at www.uncletehpeng.com
Last but not least, a pictue with my beloved SP!! Thank Youuuu!! :D
